Christian Oxymorons and Contradictions

"UNFERMENTED WINE"
-quoted from several Baptist radio speakers and the Book of Discipline of a major denomination.

Where in God's universe can you find such a product??? I thought we just called it like it is....JUICE!
If the Bible calls something wine, it better be fermented and alcohol-laced or I will no longer trust the vocabulary of God!

GOD’S GRACE IS SO POWERFUL THAT IT HAS THE CAPACITY TO OVERCOME OUR NATURAL RESISTANCE TO IT.  --from a renown Calvinist

Is that GRACE? or is that really FORCE? We make God look ridiculous by being revisionist in our definitions just to fit our cherished theologies.  Just because grace comes from the sovereign God does not mean that it can be forced upon anyone with TRUE FREE WILL! That makes God violate his own rules and ruins his faithfulness. If he can arbitrarily violate his own rules then he can also arbitrarily violate his WORD. If he does that then we have no basis to trust him.

Now, the writer says we are not really forced but "we embrace Him joyfully because the Spirit has changed our hearts." Another oxymoron. You mean heart manipulation is not force? If God can manipulate our hearts against our will why is he selective? Why not manipulate everyone. If God favors some and not all, then that bias makes me doubt the quality of his love and his grace. I cannot figure out why so-called scholars confuse us by defying common sense explanations or interpretations.

So a hypnotist who desires to win a woman's heart will hypnotize her to do so and fool himself that this woman GENUINELY loves him???  Looks like a god who is just fooling himself!  I believe God is more intelligent than that, don't you think?

And these folks would say, "But God hardened Pharoah's heart"! Well, that is because they forget that there are alternative interpretations that should not contradict the rest of Scripture NOR the nature of a God who TRULY LOVES. They need to study some more and think outside the box of their cherished doctrines.

The LOVE of a gOD WHO CONTROLS EVERYTHING
God controls every detail of the universe is a hyper-Calvinist belief.

If this God were a man, we would call him INSECURE. A husband who would control his wife's every move, every schedule, every motive, we easily call controlling and insecure. Where is the love?
If you say that God is different or operates differently, then we are NOT created in his image!

A GOD, whom many assume, knows and sees all of the future but becomes ANGRY AND is honorably TEACHABLE
-Foreknowledge is a core doctrine of almost ALL of Classical Theology

All over the Jewish Bible, God gets angry at Israel. Even the Psalms implore him to hold his anger so many times. God gets angry a lot!

In Exodus 32:7-14 and Numbers 14:11-20, Moses won the argument TWO TIMES with God to stop him from destroying Israel.

If this God were a man who can see the future and still act as if he did not know anything and get angry only now, we would call him a HYPOCRITE, since he is just PRETENDING not to know? Where is the sincerity?

If you say that God' emotions are different from ours, then we are NOT created in his image!

The cessationists
- You know who you are

When many of them get 4th stage brain or pancreatic cancer, they drop to their knees asking God for a miracle! ahem....

How can a faithful God answer the prayers against one's own faith? I thought Christ himself said, "Be it done according to your faith". This counts as a prayer that God will never answer.

THE Complementarians
- the sheep in wolve's clothing, oh, OK, the wolf in sheep's clothing, then.

Since when did male chauvinism become a complement?

[I might add more later...]
