Who was Phoebe of Rome?

Romans 16:1-2, 5

Phoebe was the SENIOR PASTOR of the church of Rome even before Paul wrote his epistle to the Romans. In fact, SHE could have been the FIRST SENIOR PASTOR of the Roman church.

Note also that, the Roman church was basically led by women. In Romans 16:3, Paul commends Priscilla and was MENTIONED FIRST in his acknowledgement of "Prisca and Aquila".  Analyze this WHOLE chapter carefully and you will note that the spiritual leadership rested with the women of the church while the deacons or "church muscle" were taken by the men.

How is that for the egalitarian view? Anyone?  Will anyone still support complementarians after an honest reading and interpretation of this? And MIND YOU, the book of Romans is Paul's MAIN DISSERTATION ON CHRISTIAN DOCTRINE!!!

Try to digest this important Biblical truth:

The Magnum Opus of the great St. Paul on the doctrine of Salvation was written to a church domininated by women SPIRITUAL leaders!!!

Any complementarian non-twisting, non-revisionist response?
