1. Stones be made bread - Challenge to His Mission
2. Jump from the mount -challenge to his Commission (no frivolity)
3. Worship - Challenge to Submission

Challenges to Christ's Person

1. Stones be made bread - Challenge to His Power
2. Jump from the mount -challenge to his Purpose
3. Worship - Challenge to his Position

All throughout:

Satan quoted and distorted the word of God with faulty hermeneutics.
The word of God was Christ's only weapon using correct hermeneutics.
