The MOST REPEATED Bible Principle - Part 1

What is the most repeated Principle in the Gospels?
What is the most repeated Principle in the New Testament?
What is the most repeated Principle in the Bible?

The answer to all three questions above are exactly the same. God is SHOUTING!
Yet, most of the Christian world pay more attention to God's many whispers than to what God is actually emphasizing.

Why do I make this conclusion? Because I rarely see this being applied by God's people, myself included, which I must confess and repent of daily as the Holy Spirit points out violations in my omissions and commissions. When we put the any interest of the self above the interest of God, we disobey this  principle!

Matthew 10:34-39 - Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.

Matthew 16:24-26 - For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.

Mark 8:34-36 - For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake and the gospel's will save it. v.35

Luke 9:23-25 - For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will save it. For what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses or forfeits himself?

Luke 17:34-36 - Whoever seeks to preserve his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life will keep it. (Reflect on v.32)

John 12:24-26 - Whoever loves his life loses it, and whoever hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life.

THOSE ARE ALL THE WORDS OF JESUS HIMSELF! This is Christ's evangelistic message! Christ is emphatically declaring that THIS IS HOW TO BE SAVED! Why do we say that? Because, if you are truly paying attention to Christ, he is talking about how you get ETERNAL LIFE in ALL those passages!

*** Missing from the Western Gospel: The Life Exchange ***

What we always forget or perhaps are completely ignorant of is that being born again makes us a new creature in Christ, the old self is gone and the new life has come (That is what is supposed to happen if truly born again). Is this true in your life?

"Receiving Christ as Lord and Savior" is becoming meaningless in our culture today. Evangelistic messages today lack the clarity of pointing out the Life Exchange Principle:

!Salvation is Christ TRADING his eternal life for our physical life.
We have to give up to Christ our physical life BEFORE he can give us eternal life.
If we refuse to give up our physical life, there is NO trade; therefore no salvation!

This is not salvation by works for there is truly NO WORK involved here, just a "simple" trade. But have we truly done it? Are we willing to die for Christ today? If your answer is no, you have not performed the trade and there is a strong possibility that you are not saved at all! The Bible tells us so! Jesus himself tells us so! Why then would the Holy Spirit write Scripture with such an emphasis on this principle?
